Could you tell me if I can use “experiences” to refer to different situations in my life that I enjoyed or suffered from?

First of all, “experience” can be either countable noun or uncountable one. Hence, countable noun can be used in the plural form – “experiences” – and we use it to talk about events or incidents that have happened to us, while the uncountable word “experience” we use to talk about obtained skills, expertise and knowledge.
Examples: I’ve got extensive experience in teaching English. Our childhood experiences inevitably have a considarable impact on marital life.
